The Steelworkers Humanity Fund (SHF) is a registered Canadian Charity that receives the majority of its funds from members of the United Steelworkers of Canada (USW). For over 35 years, the SHF has supported international development projects; provided emergency humanitarian aid; organized learning exchanges between workers; and conducted advocacy and campaigns on international issues, including sustainable development and community education, upholding labour rights and women's rights. Under its corporate accountability program, the SHF oversees the work of the Canadian Network on Corporate Accountability (CNCA). Formed in 2005, the CNCA seeks to ensure that the human rights of all peoples are respected by Canadian corporations operating internationally.
