Description of the organization's activities: ATAC represents the interests of commercial aviation in Canada. This includes the interests of airlines, both scheduled and charter, regional air carriers, air taxi operators, helicopter operators and flight training schools. ATAC's primary focus is on air regulations and safety matters. In addition, ATAC deals with matters of taxation, labour legislation, and other issues which impact on our members' operations.
Organization's membership or classes of membership: ATAC membership categories include "Operator" members, those in the business of commercial aviation, "Associate" members, suppliers to our industry, "Educational Institutions", which are flight training operators, and "Honorary Life" members, individuals we wish to honour for their service.
