Environment, Small Business, Taxation and Finance CFIB is advocating for the return of the remaining amount promised to small businesses as part of the carbon rebate and for the formal introduction of legislation to confirm its non-taxability along with the extension of the filing deadline to December 31, 2024. Employment and Training, Labour CFIB supports the principle behind the Canada Jobs Grant but encourages flexibility in its implementation and consideration of small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs)' needs, for example by supporting informal work place training.
