Description of the organization's activities: The Federal and the Canadian Societies of Immigration Practitioners (FSIP) exists to govern the Immigration profession of organizations and individuals in the public interest. The CSIP Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners can address the public complaints about a member (Provincial registered Societies and federal registered NPO Society's { administration , Association, Organization, Corporations, Notaries and immigration Practitioners in Canada who are members and non members of any organization and who provide immigration advice for a fee / Pro bono services / The mandate of the Federal Society is: CSIP exists to govern and discipline Associations, Organizations, Corporations, Notaries and Individuals ( Ex immigration officers, Consultants, , Advocates, advisors, Paralegal, stake holders and any other recognized organization specified in the IRPA / IRPR section 13.(1) (2) ) who practice immigration in Canada in the public interest by: ensuring that the people of Canada and Foreign consumers are served by immigration practitioners , Societies, Organizations, associations who meet the standard of learning , competence and professional conduct; and upholding the independence , integrity and honor of the immigration profession; for the purpose of advancing the cause of justice and the rule of law . The Objective of the Federal Society: Objects of the FSIP Corporation are: the Society is an Umbrella Immigration Society is responsible for Regulating / Supervising / Discipline the members and their activities of other Societies and NPO Societies administration, Association, Organization, Corporations, Notaries and immigration Practitioners in Canada who are members and non members of any organization and who provide immigration advice for a fee / Pro bono services

Register the FSIP federally under part 11 of the Federal Society and the corporation Act. Lobbying to have FSIP the only organization to regulate other professions relates to immigraitons services. Requested full federal investigation of CSIC, the Canadian Society of Immigration Consutlants, for corruption and fraud.Requested from the federal new Government to question the federal grant of 1.2 million dollars given to CSIC in the name of consumer interests and protections.Investigate the former Ministers Denise Coderre and Joseph Volpe in making decisions to create CSIC under false pretence information given to the immigration ministry. Requested full internal investigation with the CIC offices across Canada.We requested full federal investigation of Benjamin Trister as former chair person to the CSIC and his role in creating CSIC.Proposing a NEW Immigration and Society Act to the Federal Government to allow all immigration services to operate under a new regulations.
Subject Matter: Prospective: Proposal to amend the Immigration Act and RegulationsConsistent with the need for the immigration consulting industry to self-regulate, R2, R10(2) and R13 These amendments came into force on April 13, 2004. The objectives for theanother amendments are twofold: to help protect vulnerable representatives from unscrupolous applicant and organization or society carry on as regulator for self interest agenda.preserve the integrity of Canada's immigration representative.Amend A91 provides the authority for the Government to enact regulations concerning who may represent aperson who is the subject of a proceeding before the Minister, an officer or the IRB.These amendments affect only those applications or proceedings that are subject to the Immigrationand Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).
